The Barbara Trenchard Foundation is a non-profit corporation with all work performed on a volunteer basis so that nearly 100% of donations go into the scholarship fund. The foundation awards four year scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated superior academic performance and require financial assistance to attend college.

To date, eleven scholarships have been awarded. Our goal is to increase the amount of scholarships awarded in the future.

Yvette Granillo is a 2009 graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, and is the first scholarship recipient to graduate! Gary Henson will graduate from San Angelo State University next semester and start work on his masters degree.
